I made this at school. Today was the last day of school for the year so I brought it home to put together myself. It wasn't difficult to make and it was very cheap to do. Next year I am going to make a cotton reel holder. It isn't that big and it cant be that expensive.

This has to be the tiniest spider I have ever seen! And the colour is just lovely. It was rather interesting to take its picture because it didnt sit still for long and moved very fast when it got going!

Pigeons

A very interesting tree covered in pink pigeons. There are so many pigeons in Melbourne. I can't remember why there are pink pigeons in the tree though.

Not only do I take pictures of my own city, I take pictures of other cities too ! I dont often/ever get to travel anywhere, so when I do, I take lots of photos. The very large circle is the MCG which is an amazing place!

More Clouds

This is an amazing shot of clouds. Not often in my lifetime will I see clouds from this angle! I was in them too, but the picture wasn't worth keeping!

Heart

Hearts can be found in the strangest places! This one is on the shower screen with a loofah hanging on the cold water tap behind it. I just happen'd to see it one day. I certainly didn't go looking for it!! :)

A cute little caterpillar I found on my cauliflower in January. I guess he likes fresh vegies too! I was suprised he was still alive after being in the fridge for three days..

Spider !

I found this spider hanging upside down on the clothesline one summers day. I dont particulary like spiders, but I do like to get up close and take pictures of things - and this turned out to be quite interesting!

Lavender Blue

A beautiful lavender flower. Even the corrugatged iron fence behind it looks good! Seems I managed to capture a bee flying around too..

Frosty

The mornings have been a little frosty lately! It looks like The Princess' ball has a head of grey hair! It is out of focus because I was in a hurry to get back inside - it was only about 3 degrees out!

Clouds

Another of my favourite things is clouds. Not very often are there two clouds, or groups of clouds, the same. This is right after a jet has passed over the cloud and the sun was hitting it just right to give it that 'glow'! It didn't last long after the photo was taken. Luckily I had my camera with me on Wednesday.

Mushroom.. ?

A very cute pair of little mushrooms found in the back lawn. There isn't a lot of sunshine on that side of the lawn at this time of the year. The tree was definitely planted on the wrong side of the yard - the lawn is shady in winter and sunny in summer. There are lots of different size 'shrooms growing out there!

Another of my favourite things is Macro Photography - getting up close and personal with flowers, bugs, plants or anything that takes my fancy.
This lovely flower is a violet, which had its picture taken in September last year.

I like taking pictures of my city and surrounds. This fountain in Victoria Square is usually running but 'the powers that be' decided to turn it off during the drought. I think it is running again now. Next time I go to the city, I will take a picture of it in full flow. It looks quite nice without the water running too...

I like to take pictures out of the bus windows too, but most - nearly all - are scratched and graffiti'd which doesn't make for good pictures.

Another blog for photographs and pictures, patterns, unusual shapes, unusual things or just life - which is very unusual anyway!! This is something I found growing in the back yard recently after the rain.
